THE F-600

The Super Duty® F-600* is designed to tackle your toughest jobs with ease, and it's available with either the 7.3L gas engine or the 6.7L diesel engine. The F-600 features a 15,090 lb.-maximum payload rating and can tow up to 34,500 lbs. It boasts a GCWR of 43,000 lbs., and higher-weight-rated 19.5-inch tires allow it to achieve a GVWR of 22,000 lbs., all exceeding the already impressive numbers of the F-550. Finally, it also features driveline and chassis components upgraded from the F-550 to provide increased durability.

Chassis Cab also offers exciting available technology features such as Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking to keep you in command, as well Ford Telematics™ and Ford Data Services™ and SYNC® to keep you connected. LARIAT models now feature the available 12-inch screen with SYNC® 4, giving you cutting edge-technology to match your hauling and towing power.

DURABILITY OVER THE LONG HAUL

The Ford Super Duty® is the toughest, hardest-working generation of Class 3-6 chassis cab we've ever built. The Super Duty® is the only chassis cab built with a high-strength, military-grade, aluminum alloy that's lighter than steel yet incredibly strong. Add in stronger axles, chassis and steering components, the fully boxed under-cab and a C-channel aft-of-cab frame made of high-strength steel, and you've got hauling and towing capability that you can depend on to deliver during the workday.

HIGH-STRENGTH ALUMINUM-ALLOY BODY

The Ford Super Duty® is the only Class 3-5 chassis cab with a high-strength, military-grade, aluminum-alloy body. * It's lighter than steel yet immensely strong. And it's also more dent and ding-resistant and not subject to red rust corrosion. Beneath this lighter body is a fully boxed under-cab frame and a C-channel aft-of-cab frame built with high-strength steel.

Super Duty® Chassis Cab gas engines - the 6.2L V8 and the available 7.3L V8 - deliver all the power you'd need for the tough everyday jobs you face on the job site or on the road. For heavy-duty performance and severe-duty service, go with the third-generation 6.7L Power Stroke® V8 Turbo Diesel, the most powerful ever in a Ford Super Duty Class 3-5 chassis cab, also featuring best-in-class power-takeoff (PTO) torque.

Ford Torqshift® 10 Speed Automatic Transmission

All Super Duty® Chassis Cab models now feature a standard Ford TorqShift® 10-speed automatic transmission, with diesel models featuring best-in-class PTO torque. For extra power, the available Live-Drive Power Takeoff (PTO) Provision with Mobile Mode lets you power an aftermarket snowplow, pump, compressor or other accessories. Ford TorqShift 10-speed automatic transmission also features three overdrive gear ratios to further improve overall fuel economy. The Ford TorqShift 10-speed automatic transmission also offers Neutral Idle mode exclusively for chassis cab trucks. In Neutral Idle mode, the transmission automatically shifts into Neutral while stopped (if conditions allow it). It will then automatically resume shifting into Drive when you step off the brake. This improves efficiency and reduces load on the engine, reducing operating costs in the process.

Capability Built-In From The Ground Up

Experience the capability of a Class 6 medium duty truck in the familiar package of a Class 5 chassis cab. The F-600* features a 15,090-lb. maximum payload rating and is able to tow up to 34,500 lbs. It boasts a GCWR of 43,000 lbs., and higher-weight-rated 19.5" tires allow it to achieve a GVWR of 22,000 lbs., all exceeding the already impressive numbers of the F-550. Available upgraded hydraulic brakes with electronic stability control are included to help the F-600 remain stable while reaching its impressive ratings. Finally, it also features upgraded driveline and chassis components to match.
